   Hello Friends

   We were requested a few days ago by our users for being able to register the plugin from behind a proxy. Our team has been hard at work to add this and we have pushed out a new release with this implemented. Please update the Architexa suite to work properly from behind a proxy.

   Also, please make sure that your Eclipse has the correct proxy settings to connect to the Internet. Below are the steps to configure your Eclipse to use a proxy.

   Eclipse 3.3 and above
   > Open you eclipse IDE and navigate to Window | Preferences.
   > Then navigate to General->Network Connection
   > Make ActiveProvider as "Manual"
   > Provide the proxy IP address and port number
   > Click OK.

   Eclipse 3.2
   > Begin by navigating to Window | Preferences .
   > Click Install/Update .
   > Check Enable HTTP proxy connection
   > Enter your proxy host in HTTP proxy host address.
   > Enter your proxy port in HTTP proxy host port
   > Click OK.

   Not working for me - Eclipse can successfully update and install new software via our proxy but the Architexa online validation dialogue is still reporting that it can't connect to http://my.architexa.com current software version (downloaded and hour or so ago) is

   Architexa RSE (Rich Source Explorer) 1.2.2.201006231652

   Hey Guys,

   We ran into a compatibility issue, due to which some people were still having problems connecting to the internet. That issue has been resolved. Please update the suite and let us know if everything is working fine now.

   Still not working for me. Using "Native" proxy provider it returns quickly saying that it cannot connect to the internet. All other activity, including updating and installing plugins functions normally with this provider.

   Using manual, Eclipse freezes while attempting to connect for a couple of minutes, then returns an error.

   What kind of proxy setup is needed (SOCKS? SSL?)? Can it work with a native proxy provider?

   We are working towards supporting native proxy providers in eclipse.
